"Sunday is Monday Preparation Day"- Wan Fong
Spent my Monday Preparation Day at Wild Wild Wet, really wild, really wet, and the ticket also really rad. About 12+ dollars for an adult admission fee (wah lao I bet Boon May and Wei Rong can pass off as children!), it's like 12 times the price of Jurong Swimming Complex, which facilities are just a little bad than WWW.
Went there with my family and I abhor family outings (please, I prefer going with friends but you know, I'm a broke ass now after going out too much. I owe some people money and tomorrow I have to become like a walking ATM machine ;D) because my dad's a huge turn off.
Alot of people say my dad's handsome (HEHE indirectly self praise ;D) but his natural looks doesn't compensate for his personality: the stubborn, critical, quiet, pessimistic, serious guy; the sort ladies won't have fun going out with so I wonder what made my mum married him in the first place (gosh! :S).
Probably the sharp nose and big eyes ;D.
PS: Too bad I got my mum's nose (not to mention oily skin @#$&@#$@&$) but hey I got my mum's intellect weeeeeeeeee! ^^
Had a dispute with my dad after he created a big fuss at WWW saying "Since everyone in the family hate me and don't want to be with me why don't I just go home" (in Chinese).
Normally I'd say in my heart "GO home lah HAHA I think like that more fun" but no this time round I felt a tingling sensation in my heart (no lah not falling in love with my dad, siao), I actually sympathise him.
But I did say this in his face "I hate talking to you because all you do is scold me".
Bang. Point blank.
I guess that simple sentence put across all the emotions I have kept for a long time; I have NEVER initiate a conversation with him for 4 years unless it's for money or other things necessary for the greater benefit of my existence. ;D
After that I gave him a pat on the back. (:S)
Oh well.
This trip has been fruitful; I've become more tanned and my hair still remains a very nice brown color which probably I will get busted tomorrow because of it.
I don't get it, what has the hair color or style got to do with studies? What, brown or golden hair makes you more dumb? IQ drop by 50? The capacity of information your brain can hold will drop by 50%? And what has keeping long fringe got to do with studies as well? Does it affect your eyesight because it keeps poking it? Easy solution: Hair clip. Long side burns and long backs are also lovely areas for the disciplinary committee to bust you on.
I guess I have the answer to one of the most hated school's rule amongst the male population, the "Hair must be neat and cleanly shaved" rule.
It's reputation. Schools want face. They want to look good in this competitive world, because by looking good more people will want to enroll into that school.
I mock at this retarded mindset and let me tell you why: Imagine you are the principal of TuaPek Kong Secondary and your students have all sorts of hairstyle, goth hairstyle, afro hairstyle (we don't see much of this in Singapore do we?!), mohawk hairstyle, ah-beng hair style, whatever hairstyle you can find. Every morning assembly you see a colorful display of hair; black to brown, gold to red, and occasionally you see some brave hearts with pink or purple or green hair.
Now the outside world look at your students and they spit at your door gate, they laugh and throw money at your face (LOL actually quite good leh, free money!) but you tolerate all this humiliation and you decide "I'm going to get the last laugh" and then you train your students like rocket scientists and their O LEVEL RESULTS shock the whole nation with all subject of MSG 1.0! ;D
Now the outside world will drop their smelly jaws and they look at you in awe and whenever Tua Peck Kong Secondary School is mentioned they will think "wow, that school, students very hip, very cool, some more very smart, OK THATS IT my son/daughter will go there".
ISN'T THAT BETTER?
