Hellllllllllllo people! I'm back from Sunway Lagoon and I'm proud to present The Chronicles of Sunway! Okay, not really. But I'd have a hell lots of pictures to upload for this one so sit tight, strap up and I'll bring you through this roller coaster ride. Honestly speaking, this is the holiday that I enjoyed the most because it helped me cast away my troubles. I didin't expect myself to enjoy this trip with a heavy heart when I first left Singapore but it turned out otherwise. So, much love to parents for bringing me to this trip (and buying a hell lots of clothes for me HEHEHE) Woke up in the wee hours of the day and set off to Golden Mile. Surprisingly, sleepy head Leon wasn't feeling sleepy that day, despite having only slept 3 hours. ![]() Boarded the bus after breakfast and ended up at Tuas Immigration. ![]() This place holds a lot of memories. Melson should know why. A place with *cough* tears. ![]() And then we board another bus. This bus looks yummy. Too bad it doesn't have a toilet. Or else it would have been perfect! ![]() We crossed the stupid bridge to Malaysia and we reached Immigration. This place holds a lot of memories as well. After long hours of suffering on the coach seat, we finally reached a checkpoint, Yong Peng. ![]() My sister likes to eat sweet corn and I have no idea why. It doesn't make her sweeter or else she would have attracted more *cough* boys. Oh yeah, before I forget, I must say that my sister is a pervert. She wants to smack my butt #$^#$% for God knows what reason! After a long long time that seemed like eternity, we finally reach our destination, Paradise. I meant Sunway Lagoon. ![]() ![]() ![]() And I like the potrait that they put on their carpark entrance wall. ![]() We then proceeded to of course, check in to the Sunway Hotel. ![]() The lobby itself was already decorated to suit the festive mood. Then being curious people we were, we took a little peek at Sunway Lagoon from the hotel itself. ![]() Tasty. Then we went to our hotel rooms to put all the barang barang of course. Can't go enjoy ourselves with all the luggage and stuff can we? ![]() Our room got upgraded into Deluxe suite. Yummy! ![]() ![]() 2 Queen size beds where my Sister mercilessly kicked and punched me every night in her Kung Fu dreams. I bet she thought she was Chun Li or something. ![]() See that harmless innocent looking pinkish girl? *shakes head* What is hidden in her cute pink appearance is actually a heart of evil, which is shown by bullying his brother during sleep :( Basket, I only get to sleep a quarter of the bed because she spread her stinking limbs all over the bed OMG. #$^$##%@ Not to mention, she snores too! ARGH. Earplugs please! Then we proceeded to check out the balcony. Pretty nice, in my opinion. ![]() ![]() And when you open the balcony gate, you get greeted by this lovely scenery. ![]() Oh yeah. Beautiful. Serenity. Tranquility. Made our way to Sunway Pyramid (it's a shopping centre) via this long passage way where we had a bird eye view of Sunway Lagoon Theme Park. ![]() ![]() Then we passed a pub. ![]() Oh yeah. I'm gonna make my future house like a pub when I grow up and I've the moolas (cash). Our stomach began to grumble and make weird noises like what caterpillars make when they are eating my sister so we decided to settle down at Sushi King. ![]() I must say I ate hell lots of sushi because what I ate amounted to RM 35 (around 17+ SGD). ![]() This is my favourite Sushi for that day: Breaded Prawn Sushi with a little topping of Mayonaise! ![]() See the amount I ate compared to the amount my sister ate. My sister has a small mouth. ![]() And she looks like a bunny. I have no idea why I said that either. And here's something pretty interesting about the shopping centre. Instead of some fair in the middle of the shopping centre they have an.. ![]() ICE SKATING RINK! What an innovative idea! And it's not really that empty actually. Because.. ![]() The previous picture was taken during maintenance. Look at the people. They look like ants. ![]() Then there was this shop that sells cute shoe keychains. You don't see much of this in Singapore, really. ![]() And these are mini dustbins with an ashtray on top of them. Malaysians like to smoke more than Singaporeans. Seriously. Seems like when you pass by somewhere you would detect that irritating (well I have no idea how smokers put up with that smell) cigarette smoke smell. ![]() Then there was this freaky wig shop with loads of fake women models staring at you. It must be a terrifying night to camp there alone. Talking about wigs, my sister wanted to spray a few strands of her hair red and so we frantically searched for hair sprays and after buying one (which took us a long time to find it), she sprayed it and washed her hair immediately because she said it wasn't nice. So wasteful! Then we came upon a shoe shop and to my horror... ![]() CROCS, OMG! *Foams and dies* If your looking for something to arouse in me the urge to kill you, please buy me a Croc for Xmas present. And in my trip I realised that Malaysians like to wear caps, something you don't really see much in Singapore either. ![]() This is a pretty cool looking picture. Somehow or rather. Hehe. We watched Dejavu too, which turned out to be a pretty nice movie (although Striddy says it's not nice). If you haven't watch, Leon recommends you (that is, if you like high tech stuff. I meant, REALLY high tech stuff) ![]() Then after dinner and stuff we came home to the hotel and TADA, ![]() This is the stuff I bought on the FIRST day. Consists of a black cap, A light blue tee with brushes at the side, A blue collar tee, A Billabong belt, A pair of brown shoes, 10 Xmas cards that will be given to 10 really special people (I had a hard time thinking who to give and who not to give because I mean, it's the first time I'm giving something to people for Christmas!) The next day, we went Red Box. I meant, that's what Malaysians call it in.. Malaysia. At first we took quite some time to find it because it is in such a desolate corner that I think only ants frequent there but nevermind. ![]() We passed by this scary looking umbrella that can be easily mistaken as a demonic figure that is coming to suck your blood. We were lucky to be given this really super big room because all the small rooms were occupied that day.. for the price of a small room. ![]() ![]() ![]() They even had playstation at a corner for those who are waiting for their turn to sing! And I realised that my dad's singing was superb. Sister got kinda pissed off (as usual, the side effects of puberty!) because she said I sang so much louder than her such that it covered her voice (hey, not my fault right!). Then I chanced upon this shop, which is near the bowling alley in the shopping centre (I saw Tanjong Katong Girls' Bowling Team there. They had a competition going on in the alley). Really cool shop which sells clothing for hip-hopper and punks wanna-be. ![]() Echo park! What blew me off is this thing that stands in the middle of the shop... ![]() OMG! A turntable! The things that you know, DJ uses. ![]() I asked the shop keeper whether he knew how to mix music and stuff and he said no, and I was like, why did you have a turntable then? Then he said sometimes there will be DJ visits in the shop (which I think it's a pretty cool concept for the shop, it blends in well too) and he being nice, allowed me to take some pretty pictures of the turntable. Night dawned very quickly and we had our dinner at the Hotel restaurant, where I found a new love: Pan Fried Cod Fish, WHICH IS VERY BERRY MERRY CHERRY YUMMY! I think I ate a whole fish at that restaurant. *blush* Time to do more sit ups! Then at the Restaurant there was this thing that will blow all the ladies away... ![]() A chocolate fountain! (Leon hears the screams of awe among the female population) I bet many ladies would die for that fountain. Anyway, they had something that I consider quite uncommon in Singapore: ![]() Ice Kachang Machine! You don't really find them in buffets in Singapore do you?! Then after dinner, lovely mum brought us to the hotel lounge. Surprisingly, they allowed kids *cough* (that's my sister, I'm a teenager :D) in. So Sister and I played pool in the longue while listening to a band performing on stage (mum says lounge is for listening to music, pub is for dancing) Then I tried this drink, which has a little alcoholic content in it. Some vodka. ![]() It was pretty mild but you can taste the vodka taste, as in seriously. And no, I didn't get a hang over or get drunk and stuff (does that mean I have a strong alcohol stamina?!). Honestly speaking, I have no idea why grown up drink alcohol drinks. They taste awful. Ew. Mum says it's because everyone drinks alcohol so everyone drinks it (thinking about it, it makes sense). I guess when I'm working as a DJ, I shall drink watermelon juice. Bwahaha. Healthier choice! ![]() End of second day - the day full of shopping and karaoke. Then third day came as I awoke with a pretty tired coutenance because of my dumb dumb sister! That bom bom, she kicked me all night until I woke up several times in the night #$^%# Some more snore at my face. Third day was the day of Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, which I didn't bring my camera along. Seriously speaking, Sunway Lagoon Theme Park is pretty small, so it can be comparable with Disneyland and Escape Theme Park. It stands in the middle. It has a wet park and a dry park, which obviously, the wet park is much more fun. I must say that it's pretty interesting in the wet park because they have a DJ remixing music on a tall platform while the people enjoy the cool water in a sunny day. Dry park was pretty boring except for the 360 degree rides that my sister was not eligible to ride on because of her height (HAHAHAHAHAHA). And now she bugs me to play volleyball or basketball with her hoping that she will grow taller (which doesn't help much actually). Skip this part and we come into the night part. Had dinner with Uncle Simon's (my mum's colleague) family and he had a 13 year old son who studies in the Internation School in Malaysia! They have 2 PSP, OMG! Rich ass. To further explain their wealthiness, I have to tell you that they live in this Condominium in the city which has The Coffee Bean shop on the ground floor and they have 2 cars and a driver! #$%^#$% ![]() ![]() ![]() And not to forget, their car has a wacky GPRS system! OMG. At night, I had a sudden urge to take picture of my Sister's cute piggy. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hello. You there? Or did you faint from my sister's cuteness, I meant my sister's piggy's cuteness? Heh. Tried something cool in the hotel: ![]() There's 3 Leons! WOW! How did he do that?! Figure it out yourself :) Oh well, and third day ended quickly fast and the fourth day was nothing much except for a boring trip home (although I did witness the Johor flood) and there was this girl on the coach that look like Ningy from the side view yet had the eyebags of Lemuel. Creepy. Then her friend looked like Ting Hui. Oh well. To end this long entry off, I'll pose a riddle here for you to crack your head upon. Here goes: I borrowed $50 bucks from A. I borrowed another $50 bucks from B. I bought a pair of shoe for $97 and was given back a change of $3 So I gave A $1 and now I owe A $49. And I gave B $1 and I owe B $49. I kept the $1 for myself. Adding up the 2 $49, I get $98. And by adding up the $1 in my hand, I get $99. Where did the $1 go? Till then, Leon Hydroxide! ![]()
