It's been good. I remember that I used to be a bad guy in Secondary One and Two. Those type that contain vulgarities in every single sentence in my mouth. I still remember that time where I used to get into fights in the pull area in the school. I was a little notorious back then, whacking people without any reason and bullying other people with my clique and not to forget that ugly hairstyle of mine, which looks like a deformed porcupine. And looking on the dark side, I used to indulge in pornography before. Oh well, just then a miracle happened during July.
I was going home one day from NCC Training where I met Jasmine (Teo) on bus 28. She kept inviting me to her cell group. Ignorant of what a cell group is and giving in to her persistency, I went. It was a turning point to what I am today. It was a day of unexplained happiness because I got saved on that very day.
I was sort of planted in Cornerstone Community Church and got to know quite a few people. The church was quite good because the services makes me cry most of the time and I can really feel God's presence. However, things didn't really went well smoothly. As I became a regular I started to oversleep because the service was way too early (8 am!) and also I felt out of place there. I mean, you won't really feel comfortable when the people don't really talk to you.
So, despite Mee Han's consistency in inviting me to Heart of God Church, one invitation from Melson got me there. I was really awed by the beautiful fog effects and lights presented in the church. What more is that the stage really looks good too and the pastors are hilarious but strong in preaching at the same time. Perhaps what makes the stay best is the warm people in the church. They'll not put a facade, they'll not leave you there when you have problems. Thank you Heart of God Church people, you guys rocks!
Now I'm a much better man than before. I no longer use vulgarity intentionally, no longer get into fights and no longer indulge in pornography. God has definitely blessed me with much better results than before. Back in lower secondary, I was one of the average student but now with God's blessing I passed with flying colors! Not to forget, God has definitely blessed me in lots of areas in my life, be it physically, mentally, emotionally, logically, leadership skills and many more that would take forever to list out (:
So, all of this shall be sum up with one simple sentence:
Since He came, everything's changed.
