yo blog, today was a difficult day as i had a difficult paper in school. English was relatively easy but Physics was the main killer. it killed me upside down inside out. seriously, i think the pure physics students will flunk like crazy. yeah, so it was kinda OKAY. when i came home today i fell asleep after reading true singapore ghost stories (ironical, i think, as they fail to scare me). what the heck, nothing can cause a drastic change in my emotions really. horror movies never made me scared (i think about how i laughed when i watched the exorcist and shutter) and love movies never made me cry (although girls tend to do so?). however, the movie, I not Stupid too, which i watched last few weeks ago (with my family) did it. it made me cry, seriously. i think EVERYONE should watch it, even though if they are illiterate. why? because it is about US, the teens, the feeling of NOT APPRECIATED, the failure of EDUCATION, the failure of PARENTS which led to the problems OUR society faces today. seriously, jack neo is a person my respect goes to. his movies are a Singaporean blend of humor and of course, touching at times. his creativity and style in directing the movie has earned him my respect. *salutes* okay, i'm gonna blog about yesterdays encounter with my dad's big fat juicy worms that are used to feed his retarded fish with some.. whiskers. I was home after church's Generation day and I saw this little beetle at my bedside. The poor thing was toppled over and it was weak. I think someone in my family sprayed it with pesticide, I don't know. So i brought him to the window panel where i lay him upright. (not trying to make him suicide) and I was having the thought of getting dad's big juicy worm to "fight" it. So i went to that desolate corner under the fish tank to get out that container filled with those big juicy worms and i found that they were SO DEAD. not literally, i meant, the way the move are only by vibrating. Pitying them, I took some vegetable leaves and washed it with water and placed it in the container. Of course, it took some time for those sperm like worms to realise there were food that they longed for (they haven't eaten for weeks! wow!). As I watched them eat, I realised I have some sort of power over their lives and death. This is just like God watching over his own people. Ha, well, that was certainly enlightening. To me, though.![]()
