yo sup. today, there's school again and during recess I couldn't simply resist that temptation of the guitar in PCCG room so I went in and hooked up a guitar and started strumming it like it was a whore. A blister then formed on my thumb. haha. Big one. anyway, after school there was training. we received the very bad news that the freaking CLTS coming back for their GAY O-Level results are going to take the platoons some of us are actually taking today! so what happen was after much complaining and grumbling and stumbling (unrelevant), the seniors let us take our own platoon and the secondary two platoons. okay , so I was taking our own platoon and that is BAD. i'll fill you in. Ha, taking your own peers are very DIFFICULT. because they will slack and give attitude (cause they are your peers) so the people taking with me started shouting like crazy and the platoon became angry and low morale. leon hates doing things by fear and by force. haha, leon likes doing things by influence! :D okay. so later after much jogging around the school and disturbing the CCAS (which i accidently cut the NPCC platoon but we did do 50 push up to make up for that. sorry guys.) then our seniors take us for drills. after tedious drills there were games. melson the very nice (patient?) guy waited for me after he finish taking his secondary one juniors (NCC sea). haha. yup, went home after training straight. while going home I thought of something, to do with the country. i don't really know why Singapore companies only rely on the piece of paper (certificate) to judge one person's ability. okay, for example, do you need like a holy piece of certificate that says you are so uber good in science, maths, history and geography when you apply for a job like Computer Programming? I think that the stuff we learn in Secondary schools should actually be RELATED to our ambitions. for example, my ambition, computer programming, doesn't really got to do with geography does it? (volcanoes?) or social studies (human relationships?), history (communism?), biology (pesky parts in the body?), chemistry (chemicals to pour on the computer?) , physics (the forces in the computer, the electricity?) or even A maths (what has sketching graph and finding minimum points gotta do with programming?). but however, I must say, that Singapore is a little strange (I can't really use retarded) because to go for a higher level of knowledge in your own AMBITION/FIELD you gotta learn things that aren't much relevant to your own AMBITION/FIELD. WASTE OF TIME, I call it. Yup. that's the end of my draggy post. haha, thank you readers, for spending time to read my rants and such. love you all :D![]()
