Day 1
------------------
hehe. woke up especially early today, like , around 5 o clock if im not wrong. had to report to church by 6.45am. so i was dragging my weary feet as i made my way to church. nothing much, except that there are quite alot of campers there already. i joined up with my camp group, Deluge, and we waited for those that haven't arrived. after a few minutes of waiting , Abel the leader finally came, well , kinda late, like 7am. and we advanced towards katong hostel. along the way , somehow felt a little home sick. perhaps that's because i don't really know the people in church well yet. okay, so after a long wait of cheering and briefing, headed to the bunk where we deposited our belongings there and we were out for lunch! which is at tanjong katong primary. okay after lunch is session. talked about..err..i forgot. nvm. anwyay, the pastor was kinda scary, i mean, the way he preaches. lol. but his style was very unique. his message was powerful. ok so after service we had games at katong! it was something like amazing race la k then first we went to church auditorium we played this game , its like you have to step the correct steps according to the sequence ok , so after that we headed for.. lion city , where the game there is to translate this phrase from english into many languages. ok so after that we went to this Geylang Serai community centre where we played this passing the ball game then the station master added bonus 30 points for our group because Jian Cong managed to do a layout! lol. okay after taht we ran to Dunman Food Centre where we have to play this game like..you know, the taiwan Jacky show , the Food Crossword.. something like that. okay so times up we went back and bath etc. went for dinner and another session then lights out k bye.
Day 2
------------------
next day , had to wake up early, same daily routine but then , after lunch, we went to Sentosa! woot. another amazing race like thingy. first, we went to merlion to gather for a briefing for this game la. ok here's what's gonna happen. each team is given a list of questions and a map, the map is a photocopied map of sentosa with station stickers . ok, so it is that we go to each station and we do teh task there and we answer the questions so we get points for our group. got it? yup. okay so we first went to the merlion station (well cause its near), it was a wrong decision. we had to go through this splashing water thing and the water is like kinda smelly so after doing that task we were drenched and stinky but who caers, this is camp! lol. okay so we went to our next station which is at the musical fountain, where we have to find 5 different pieces of paper with 5 different words under the benches where the audience sits. after thorough combing , we finally made a sentence out of it and we passed it. okay. then we got lost somehow , but we managed to reach the ferry terminal by bus. we had to dance dance there lol, okay , so Yvonne coached us for a few minutes and we got ready to shake our bum bum and pastor daniel came just in time to see our bum bum so he gave us bonus 80 points! :D okay then after tedious running we reached the difficult to find image of singapore station where we answer some peanuts question about Singapore history. yup and time's up so we gathered back and thats the end for our gaes, where we have dinner and session afterwards. then lights out.
Day 3
------------------
same daily routine, today , the campers went to old folks home to talk to old folks and let them play some games. our group had a skit performance, but it was seriously pathethic. kinda embarassing on the stage. who cares. after meddling with old people (which i dont really like), we went to clean up the old folks home. (hey wheres my CIP hours? just kidding.) okay. so it was dinner then session. after session..wait, not lights otu. but night games! okay so we went to this open big field nearby the Katong hostel which we slept at for the whole camp. every camper were blind folded except the group leaders. the rules are like this. the leader are suppose to guide their fellow members to each station and play it. okay, some of the games are really dirty. like the one where you have to roll over the canvas that is filled with chilli, raw egg, flour, etc. also, you have to eat wasabi, chilli..etc. yup. that's all i can vaguely remember. okay after that we had wash up. most went to sleep. i didn't. talked the whole night with Abel and Joy. lol. then went to the basketball court and lie down, starring at the skies. time really passes fast. soon the sky was bright again.
Day 4
------------------
okay so after the debriefing and stuff, our group won 2nd, but no prize. lol. okay. i'm too lazy to blog further so good bye. oh ya, and i made my way home with blisters on my leg lol. from playing basketball.
